Green Grab Bag Review and Giveaway - ends 8/20

July’s Green Grab Bag was a perfect bag for a spa day which is what I did with most of the items. This is what I received in July’s Grab Bag:

Simply BathSalts Lavender Blend : Kosher Dead Sea Salts, Epsom Salt with 100% essential oil of lavender and jojoba oil. I poured this in my garden tub and relaxed to the smell of lavender. I especially liked that I didn’t have to put lotion on afterward because my skin felt moisturized and soft after my bath.

EO Certified Organic Deodorant Spray:  Blended with organic essential  lavender oils and organic alcohol for a clean and fresh feeling. I had never used a deodorant that you spray pumped before but it is something I quickly adjusted to. I love the way this deodorant smells because I love lavender and the scent lasts. I made the mistake of spraying it on immediately after shaving and it did sting a bit.

GO Skin CareGinger Face Cleanser: Contains Willow Bark Extract, which is a natural mild exfoliant that energizes and detoxifies your skin while removing all traces of make-up.  This smells just like ginger and makes me want to eat Thai food every time I smell it. It is a soap that you use to wash your face. My skin feels invigorated whenever I use it and It effectively removes all traces of make-up.

LaMellite Strawberry Lemon Sugar Scrub: Made with a Fresh purée of strawberries and lemons. This smells so good, when I used it for the first time on my face, I could taste the sweetness and it was all I could do to not to eat the scrub! I really like the way it exfoliates my skin.

CoTZ PURESunscreen: Contains a proprietary mineral formulation, which blends up to eight different mineral particles that deflects the sun’s rays. It has 0% Synthetic Ingredients, Preservatives and Chemical Sunscreens. We used this while camping and none of us got burned!

Opalima Beauty Eye shadows: Made from minerals and free from mineral oil, parabens, FD&C dyes, and other open to question ingredients. I received the dark iridescent blue and white. I have to admit, I haven’t worn blue and white eye shadow for a number of years but I thought I might as well try it. I had to use cotton swabs to put the eye shadow on because I didn’t have an eye shadow brush but the eye shadows went on smoothly. 

MightyLeaf Organic African Nectar Tea: Made with Organic African rooibos tea with tropical fruit and blossoms. This caffeine free tea is rich in anti-oxidants and promotes calm and relaxation. It has a tropical fruit flavor that I enjoyed relaxing in my garden tub as I read a book.
