My thoughts:

Having never read any of Terri Blackstock's books I didn't know what to expect. Well, I was pleasantly surprised since the suspense kept me thoroughly entertained from beginning to end.  If you like stories about strong mothers protecting their kids and who lives by her beliefs then this would be a great read for you.  Even though this is the second book in the series it can stand alone since the background is given throughout the story.
