After many years of doing the cooking for holidays and family get togethers, I finally decided it was time to make better memories with my loved ones by spending more time with them. 

It seems that by the time I was done planning the meal, shopping for groceries, cleaning the house, and then cooking the meal I was exhaused, not to mention the clean up afterwards. I just never really felt like I was able to fully interact with my guests and now that I have a granddaughter I want to be able to enjoy spending time with her. This Easter I am going to enjoy church then come home and do some egg hunting to do with my son and granddaughter without worrying about the meal that needs to be prepared since I have a pre-cooked HoneyBaked Ham that I just need to put in the oven to warm.  

We go the day or so before a holiday to pick what we want to eat since HoneyBaked has a nice selection of Ham, Turkey Breast, Heat & Share Side Dishes, Honey-Spice Bacon, Pork Roasts, BBQ Pork Back Ribs and Chicken, Sandwiches, Desserts and Party Trays. We have three different stores to choose from, the one we chose this time was the HoneyBaked Ham Company at 6736 E. Baseline Rd. Mesa, Arizona. The people there are friendly and very helpful.

This last family get together we bought a whole Boneless ham that had been slow-roasted, smoked, and covered with the delicious glaze. It weighed  7.5 lbs. and was enough to serve approximately 16 people. Even with 10 of us eating we had more than enough ham leftover so I made us ham sandwiches for lunch the next day. I still had plenty of ham left over so I made scalloped ham and potatoes for dinner the night after that. The ham tastes so delicious that my youngest son was very dissapointed when he found out all the HoneyBaked Ham was gone when he came home from school and expected to be able to snack on some. 

As you can see in the photo above HoneyBaked also has a nice selection of Heat & Share Side Dishes that you can also pick up to go with your meal. Since the girls were each bringing a side dish, I opted not to go with their side dishes this time.
