Scotland, 1860.

My Thoughts:

Since I wasn't familiar with some of the language used, I found this book a little difficult to understand but I was able to find out the meaning by using a dictionary. I am glad I didn't let that little issue stop me because I found the book quite interesting. It is actually two stories in one with fascinating characters from the past and the present. I truly enjoyed learning about the Selkies and Mermaid folk tales and how they came about.
