My thoughts:
This story has entertained me with its interesting characters. Lillian, a strong young woman who is determined to seek her dreams and in the process she gets a lot more than she bargained for. Colten, who not only has to deal with his son who is so terrified that he has not spoken for over a year; he also has to deal with the constant accusations from most of the townspeople who believe the gossip told about him, including the sheriff who doesn't even bother to look for the real murderer. Harry, a young man who has been abused for most of his life. I appreciate the authors using this story to show just how much damage gossip can do to someone.
