Will you be looking for unique gifts to give to a special someone this upcoming holiday season? Novica is one of the first places I start looking. Novica, in association with National Geographic, is an amazing website that sells some awesome home decor, handmade men & woman jewelry, paintings, eco-friendly gifts, and garments from artisans all over the world at very reasonable prices. They have added over 5,000 new products this year so there is always a wide selection to choose from. This time I chose a Long Shibori-Dyed Green and Brown Tunic Top with Sequins, 'Glorious Jaipur'.

Every product I have ever gotten from the Novica comes in a nice packaging. This tunic top came in a white sheer bag with a tassel and button closure, it is beautiful enough to be reused for myself or as a gift bag for someone else. Another item that I always count on getting is a card that tells all about the artist who created the goods. This one was made by Vijay Singh in India who states "My trademark is the golden block print patterns I create. I let them stand out in the clothes, like the sun."

The tunic is made with 100% viscose (rayon). Its brown and green colors come from a tie dying style called Shibori that was created in Japan. Golden beadwork is sewn into a curvy design and along the squared neckline. Golden sequins are sewn into the block printed floral patterns on the front of the top while the back has the prints without the sequins. The 3/4 sleeves and outer layer are sheer with a green liner inside.

I ordered the medium size and you can see it is as long as a dress on my short body. Perfect! This length will let me be able to wear it as a dress or with tights. I love the embellishments on the tunic and how it is so loose and comfortable to wear. Along with this long sleeve style top there is also a halter style top and a hem dress available in the Shibori-dyed green and brown colors.
