Last month I told you that I was going to try this new product that I got sent from Chewy. A bag of Tylee's Chicken Recipe Human-Grade Dog Food. It arrived a few days after I ordered it in a insulated box and dry ice to help keep it frozen. Which it was. I greatly appreciated the added instructions as to how to handle dry ice.

After taking the frozen dog food out of the insulated box, I immediately put it in the refrigerator for it to thaw out slowly. Once it was defrosted I opened the resealable bag and was shocked at how good the dog food smelled! I even called my picky son over to sniff it just to see if my sense of smell had gone wonky. When he offered to taste it, I knew without a doubt that my nose was working just fine. No, I didn't let him eat it! You can see the decent sized chunks of carrots, apple, spinach and peas.

To begin the dogs on this food, I mixed 1/4 of a cup of Tylee's into 3/4 of a cup of dry dog food. After several days of feeding them this mixture I would gradually add more Tylee's over a couple weeks until they were getting a full bowl of the soft food. 

                                                               They love it! 

I noticed an excitement to eat whenever I would take the bag of food from the refrigerator. My son (the pooper scooper) is happy that the dogs seem to poop less. While I didn't notice any issues with the dogs sensitive stomachs I did notice that they stopped eating their dry kibble. Both dogs have bad teeth so they need to chew their food to help clean them. I decided to go back to feeding them just a bit of Tylee's mixed into their dry food in order to help keep their teeth clean. That way we are all happy.
