I took my son and his friend for his 13th birthday. We arrived at 11 am just as the first session began. Upbeat music was playing as we wandered around eyeing all building stations. After doing a quick check around the first place they settled on was the glow in the dark brick station.
There were lots of places to shop for LEGO's that you are missing in your collection and some creations made from LEGO's such as the lamps above.
The boys spent the day playing video games, mini golf, and building many items with all types of LEGO bricks.
One of the activities they really enjoyed was the Brick Derby Fest. Each person is given five minutes to build a vehicle to race against others. My husband and I even got in on the action. My son was first, his friend second, my husband third, and yours truly came in last.
I think you can tell just how entertained the boys were. I was so glad that my son was able to celebrate his birthday with fellow LEGO enthusiasts. We found Brick Fest to be a very fun experience.
