Illumination Symphony of Light #Review

Now that Thanksgiving is over it is time for my family to get ready for Christmas. One way that we did to get us into the holiday spirit was to attend the Illumination Symphony of Light in Phoenix, AZ. Illumination is a drive through light show synchronized to music.

If you want to listen to the music you have to turn on the radio station. One way to put me in a happy mood is to drive through millions of lights with lively music. A 40 ft Christmas tree, menorahs, candy canes, nutcrackers, and the American flag are just a few examples of the amazing display.

After we drove through the lights display we parked and entered Holiday Boulevard where we grabbed some hot chocolate, cotton candy and kettle corn to snack on as we enjoyed some of the many fun activities for families to do. We did Youth for troops where you write a note or decorate a priority mail box that will get sent out after they are filled at the Care Packing event on November 29th. We took pictures in the 20-foot tall walk-thru ornament, and had our Caricatures done by Adam Street. Since our son is 13 he didn't want to do everything they had to offer, such as the crafts to do, Winter Jumperland, and pictures with Santa.

We had a wonderful time and would go back. Since Illumination will run through January 14th 2018 there is still plenty of time check it out again. Illumination is located at 27701 N. Black Canyon Highway in Phoenix, conveniently located off of the service road at I-17 Freeway, just north of Jomax Road. Admission is $29.50++ per car and access to the festive Holiday Boulevard is included with each admission. You can go to Illumination.com or Facebook for more information or tickets.
