This month my little Trixie got The Honest Kitchen Beef Bone Broth with Turmeric added to her kibble. I take Tumeric to help with my Fibromyalgia pain therefore I figured it might be beneficial to Trixie now that she is older and having a little discomfort with her joints.

It consists of 95% dehydrated beef bone broth, beef, parsley, pumpkin and turmeric extract. Make the broth by mixing two tablespoons of it into 8 oz of hot water.

You can feed it as a liquid treat or add the warm liquid to dry kibble to soften it up as I like to do.

I wasn't sure if Trixie would even try the bone broth being that she is so particular, so I decided to feed her off a spoon in the hopes that she would think she was getting a special treat. After she ate some moist kibbles off the spoon a few times I knew she enjoyed the flavor. I like that it doesn't contain corn, wheat, soy or GMO in the ingredients.

Trixie has only been eating the bone broth for a couple of weeks but I can already tell a difference in how much more active she has become, she is back to playing with Redford. The most surprising thing is that Redford absolutely loves it and he doesn't fart all the time like he used to! The 5-oz container makes about 10 cups of delicious broth and is also good for cats.
