About "His Risk":

My thoughts:

Calvin decides he needs to go home after discovering his brother is ill and needs surgery. What people don't know is that he is taking a big risk considering what can happen if the wrong people discover his true identity. Alice takes a risk getting to know this Englisher even though she knows it might be wrong. I must admit that I never expected West to end up sacrificing himself. 

I enjoy reading Shelley's books about the Amish because they not only are entertaining but I always end up learning something new. In His Risk I learned that taking an emotional risk can be difficult and rewarding. One must trust that God will protect us in times of trouble.

His Risk is the 4th book in Shelley's The Amish of Hart County series. There will be two more books in the series coming out this year so now is your chance to get the first three along with this one before they come out.
