  Greenies Grain-Free Petite Dental Dog Treats

This month the focus is going to be on Redford's teeth and Greenies Dental Treats. Red's teeth were undeniably not the cleanest when we rescued him two and a half years ago, while he was assumed to be only around four years of age his teeth seemed to be like those of a much older dog. We did see an significant decrease in tartar on his teeth once we started giving him Greenies Dental Treats every day. Redford weighed 15 lbs when we first got him so we just gave him the teenie size along with Trixie due to their recommended weight allowance of 5-15 lbs.  Well, he now weighs 25 lbs so we decided to start giving him the  Petite size for dogs that weigh between 15 and 25 lbs.  

Greenies are dental treats that clean dogs teeth, help to maintain healthy gums plus and removes tartar and plaque, they don't contain artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and are grain free which coincides with their raw diet, the highly soluble ingredients includes vitamins and minerals making them easily digestible and more nutritive plus the best thing of all is that these treats seriously help to freshen their breath! 

The top one is the teenie size and the bottom is the petite size.

While his front teeth look so much better than they did when we first got him, I am hoping that the bigger sized Greenies reach the teeth at the back of his mouth therefore having the ability to scrub the gunk off better than before. 

I can tell a difference in how Redford chews on his larger sized Greenie, before he would just bite off the tip of the dental chew with his lower teeth but now he gnaws it more towards the back teeth because it is longer. I really won't know just how well it works for a few months but I am very hopeful that they will do a much better job at his back teeth than the smaller size did.
