Unilever Summer Ice Cream Review

Summer is hotter than ever in the desert state of Arizona and there’s no better way to cool down than with the newest line-up of frozen treats from Unilever. With so many varieties to choose from we had a very difficult time choosing we ones we wanted to try the most. It is especially hard we you take the eight year old with you and all he wants is the non adult looking ice cream.  We finally chose these great tasting ice creams to cool us down this summer.

· MAGNUM Double Caramel – 3 thick bars of vanilla ice cream covered in caramel, and chocolate on a stick per box. You have to limit yourself when you eat one of these creamy treats because they are very rich, it is like eating dessert on a stick.

· Breyers Butter Pecan - 1.5 quarts of Real butter-roasted pecan pieces nestled in rich, creamy Vanilla. This is one of my husband’s favorites, he has always been partial to butter pecan and this one exceeded his expectations with lots of pecans and creamy.

· Klondike Krunch Bars - 6 squares of vanilla ice cream coated with a thin layer of crisp rice covered in chocolate. My son sang a ditty about all he would do for a Klondike bar. These would be all of our second favorite.

· Good Humor Mounds Ice Cream Bars - 6 Coconut ice cream bars with real coconut dipped in a dark chocolate-flavored coating. These creamy coconut delectable bars are my favorites.

· Popsicle Marvel Heroes - 20 ™ multi-flavored frozen pops with heroes: IRON MAN® Strawberry Kiwi-Cherry-Lemon flavor, SPIDER-MAN® Strawberry Kiwi-Cherry-Raspberry flavor, and THE INCREDIBLE HULK® Strawberry Kiwi-Green Apple-Grape flavor. These are my eight year old's favorite.

While these ice creams do a great job of cooling a person down on a hot summer day they can be great almost anytime of the year in Arizona. The butter pecan will be great with a cobbler or pie during the winter.
