Greenology - Green Shield Laundry Detergent Review and Giveaway - ends 9/22

Greenology makes organic cleaning products that keep pets, people, and the planet safe by using organically grown ingredients, ensuring biodegradability, using recycled packaging and creating smaller packaging footprints when possible. They make Laundry, Kitchen, Bathroom, and General Cleaning Products.

GreenShield Organic Laundry Detergent is a concentrated blend of renewable penetrating agents and solubilizers capable of lifting tough stains from natural and synthetic fibers.

You can purchase this organic detergent in:

  • 2 scents: Lavender and Free & Clear,
  • 2 different sizes of Regular liquid: 50 oz. and 100 oz.
  • 2 different types: Regular and Elite Care

I received the 60 oz. bottle of Elite care in the Lavender Scent, this bottle cleans 60 HE general loads or 40 standard machine loads. If you are expecting suds with this product you won’t see them, although it says low suds I didn’t see any. That does not affect how well this people, pets and planet conscious product works however. Suds don't clean, the additives and synthetics only make it seem as if they do.  I used it on our camping clothes that smelled like smoke and with an eight year old who loves to play with dirt, climb trees, and get very dirty there were some pretty dirty clothes. Okay, it wasn’t only the child who had dirty clothes, I tend to get dirty although I really don’t climb trees or play in the dirt. Our of our clothes came out clean and smelling like Lavender.

My son and I have very sensitive skin and we need to avoid lots of chemicals that can set off an allergic reaction.  I like using this for our regular and delicate clothing because I love the Lavender smell and I know it is gentle on them and us.

Check out the new back to school promotion available at Lowe’s Home Improvement, nationwide. The Motherload 3in1 Station "In this one package, there is 200oz of liquid laundry detergent, 200 dryer sheets, and a stain stick. It can easily be carried to and from the laundry room or kept safely on the shelf. The detergent and stain stick are made from organic ingredients and 95% of this package is recyclable. Putting these three different pieces together in one package saves time, money, and the environment!" Go to website to get $1 off coupon and to purchase products.
