Robby Wash Ball is hypallergenic laundry ball that uses a unique technology that incorporates macro-molecules which are designed to clean laundry. The chlorine and phosphate free, plastic washing ball comes with 10 ounces of macro-molecules that replaces 75 pounds of traditional laundry detergent or enough to do about one year of laundry. They come in two colors: Fushia for cold water wash and blue for hot or cold water washing.

I received the fushia wash ball for cold water washes filled with macro-molecule balls (cleaning pellets). Instructions, a stain stick and three macro-molecule refills also came in the box. I got the cold water ball which is great since that is all I use to do laundry.

You open the cap to refill the cleaning pellets.

To use: toss the Robby Wash ball in your washing machine. When less than 75% full you can refill with one of the packets included. I have used my wash ball for over a month and it still looks full and I do a load just about every day. 

They do have a stain stick to use on stains that I did not use since I didn't have any stains to worry about when I was writing this piece. The Robby Wash Washer Ball performed well on regular loads of laundry leaving them smelling clean, fresh and feeling soft. It has slight fresh scent not overpowering at all. You might consider getting two balls if you use an oversized washer. Considering this product is supposed to last one year and washes well in cold water, I think it is an economically friendly product as well as an eco-friendly one. Since it is hypoallergenic it is great as a baby laundry detergent cleaner or for people with sensitive skin.
