Smile Brilliant is a professional teeth whitening system that allows you to whiten your teeth at home without spending a fortune you might otherwise spend at the dentist office. You get a Tray Creation Kit sent to you and you send back your impressions, they make a custom tray for you to use with their teeth whitener. I have been wanting to whiten my teeth for awhile now.

My Smile Brilliant Tray Creation Kit came with 3 base pastes, 3 catalyst pastes, 3 teeth whitening gel syringes, 3 desensitizing gel syringes, 2 impression trays, instructions, and a postage paid mailing envelope.

To make your dental impressions: Mix the base paste and the catalyst paste together for 45 seconds, making the paste all blue. Put the putty in the tray evenly within 30 seconds. After the putty sets for a minute you will be making your teeth impressions. Once you get the right impression in each tray you will be sending them back to the company for them to make your teeth whitening trays. I had no problem following the instructions and I didn't need to use the extra base or catalyst pastes.

I received my custom made teeth whitening trays approximately a week after I mailed the impression trays out. They come in a sturdy plastic case with holes to keep them protected and dry. The trays do fit my teeth perfectly and hold well.

To use: Apply a string of gel ( that will be about 1/4 to 1/3 of the syringe on both trays combined) along the front inner surface of the trays, this is the part that comes in contact with the front of your teeth.

I used the desensitizing gel on my teeth for 15 minutes since it replenishes essential vitamins and minerals that are lost during the teeth whitening treatments. Using the gel prior to whitening lessens the chances of tooth sensitivity and tooth re-staining, helps remineralize small lesions and make tooth enamel stronger. Next I applied the teeth whitening gel for 1 hour. My  teeth did hurt a little bit during my first whitening session. I opted to whiten every other day since my teeth were obviously sensitive. My teeth didn't hurt for the following treatments after the first time.

You leave the trays on your teeth for 1-3 hours everyday or every other if your teeth are sensitive like mine. It took about three weeks for mine to be finished.

The teeth whitener kit was very easy to use and I am very happy with how my teeth look, to me they look brighter and whiter. I am so glad I waited and did my teeth with Smile Brilliant since I would have spent a lot of money having it done at the dentists office.
