Like most women, I love to have my nails done. Problem is, I am on a strict budget so I don't enjoy spending my limited budget on the cost of a manicure and pedicure too often. I have heard of press on nails but I had never tried them, I had it in my head that they were too fake to look good. I was given the opportunity to try a couple of imPRESS Press-On Manicure sets and give my opinion.

I received a set of So, So Stellar and Bells and Whistles. The So, So Stellar are a light beige color and comes with 24 Ultra-Shine Gel Nails plus two heart charms. The Bells and Whistles are a turquoise color and comes with 30 Ultra-Shine Gel Nails plus six accent nails that have 2 different designs. I chose the So, So Stellars to wear first because the beige color goes with just about everything I wear. I am saving the Bells and Whistles for a special night out.

The press on nails kits come with the gel nails, directions, a prep pad & file. They are very easy to apply once you read and follow the directions; choose the right nail size for each finger and put them in the order you will use them, wash hands, clean nails with prep pad, peel off the backing to uncover the adhesive ( I used tweezers to make it easier), align the nail with your cuticle, press down firmly in the middle of the nail before pressing down firmly on each side saving the thumb nails for last. You file the nails down after one hour to allow the gel nail enough time to stick tightly to the adhesive.

Peel of the backing to expose the adhesive.

You can cut or file the nails down after one hour.

To add the charm: First peel the adhesive off the sheet and put it on your nail where you want to apply the charm. Then peel of the adhesive cover with tweezers. Lastly, press the charm firmly onto the adhesive.

Finished product; shiny and lovely!

With imPRESS you get an Ultra Gel Shine in minutes, no having to wait for your nails to dry, there is no mess to clean up, you don't have to spend extra to have a design put on your nail, you don't use glue, no gel damage to your nails, they are waterproof, the nails stay on up to a week and they peel off easily when you want to remove them without causing harm to the nails. The best thing is that these nails are available at your local Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Rite Aid and Kmart store for $6.99 (SRP)! I can now afford to have my hands looking nice and be able to have a pedicure done a little more often since I will be saving money on manicures. I have to say that I am very impressed with my imPRESS nails.
