About the When Calls the Heart Series:

From celebrated author Janette Oke (The Love Comes Softly series) comes a rigorous and romantic adventure as epic as the wide frontier. Erin Krakow (Army Wives), Daniel Lissing (Eye Candy), Jack Wagner (Melrose Place) and Lori Loughlin (Full House, 90210) star in When Calls The Heart, “a beautiful story with roots in relationships, self-empowerment, and the enduring power of love”.

About When Calls the Heart- “Follow Your Heart ”:
While Jack and Elizabeth’s relationship has cooled following their arguments in Hamilton, Jack is hot on the trail of a counterfeiter right in Hope Valley! When he finds the culprit, a two-fisted brawl ensues as Jack apprehends the man. Seeing Jack in danger prompts Elizabeth to confront her feelings and seek him out… but she inadvertently sets Rip, Jack’s dog, loose at the same time. As a violent storm bears down on Hope Valley, Jack and Elizabeth search for Rip and take shelter in an old mineshaft together. But the storm won’t be escaped so easily, and the unstable shaft begins to collapse…

My thoughts:

In the last two episodes of the second season Jack and Elizabeth go back to Hamilton to deal with their siblings which ends up causing more issues about their different lifestyles. Back home, Jack is hot on the trail of the counterfeiter, he starts to suspect that Bill Avery might be a part of the ring. Elizabeth accidentally lets Jacks's dog, Rip out of the jail. She and Jack go searching for him, giving them plenty of time to talk things out. Just when you think things are getting better between them, Charles shows up at the schoolhouse and proposes to Elizabeth just as Jack shows up. Just when you think things are going smoothly something happens to make the relationship go backwards.

Now that Henry Gowan is the new Mayor he tells Abigail he will close the restaurant if a list of repairs isn't done in time. Fortunately Pastor Hogan helps her fix everything up, giving them lots of time together. Hogan ends up admitting that he wasn't always a Godly man. We learn that it was Gowan who informed Bill's ex wife about his relationship with Abigail. Bill finally gets to have a long honest talk with Nora, who comes to realize that their relationship is really over. She decides to stay in Hope Valley, much to Gowan's delight. Will Nora and Gowan end up together?

Lee starts dating Molly which causes Rosemary to reconsider her feelings towards Lee. Turns out Molly and Lee were in cahoots together to try to make Rosemary jealous. Fortunately it works and they get back together.

Feeling stifled, Julie becomes defiant towards her parents and older sister Viola. She ends up running away to be with Tom. Viola convinces Charles to go after Elizabeth.

This series has my emotions all over the place, I am either laughing, crying, or wanting to shake some sense into someone.
