I have been a fan of Nichole Nordeman for a number of years now so when given the chance to review her newest CD entitled “EVERY MILE MATTERED” I was all over it like butter on toast. I find her music so soothing that I love to lay back and just listen to the words and think about how they apply to my life. "Slow Down" especially speaks to me as my youngest son just turned 13. I think about how God blessed us with him even after my tubes had been tied 14 years prior. You see, one day it hit me that our oldest son had already moved out and the other two would be doing the same one day. I found myself wanting another baby so much that I prayed for a year and a half for another one. He has been such a special blessing to us all and I find myself wanting him to slow down.

The lyrics are enclosed making it easier for me to memorize the words as I listen. Nichole has a book entitled “SLOW DOWN” that will be coming out in August. You can pre-order a copy here.
