My 13 year old son has been wanting a couple of Leopard Geckos for about a year so we did some research to ensure we could create a good habitat for them. We choose to get the Zoo Med Reptile Shelter 3 in 1 Cave in the Small size since the geckos will live in a 10 gallon glass aquarium. This cave can be used for small sized reptiles, amphibians, arachnids.

This modular cave measures 6 x 6 x 5 inches giving the geckos a special place to lay eggs, as a private retreat to go into when they are shedding or just needing alone time, and it can be used as a basking rock to lay on.

The Repti Shelter is made of earth friendly ceramic. Removing the lid cover allows us to check on the geckos to see if they are shedding or laying eggs. It also makes it easy to clean or change out the moss.

By adding peat moss to the bottom of the shelter it creates a moist environment for egg laying and for shedding.

Here is the new home for our new family members. As you can see the small Repti Shelter looks great and fits right in.
