Castor & Pollux PRISTINE Grain-Free Grass-Fed Beef Bone Broth Seasoned With Turmeric Dog Food Topper #ChewyInfluenser

Earlier this month my little 6 lb Yorkie, Trixie, became very ill and had to be rushed to the vet. Turns out she has pancreatitis caused by fatty foods. I am ashamed to admit that I did feed my fur-babies little bits of bacon and sausage whenever I was eating some. I didn't realize that it really isn't good for them or that it would cause her so much distress. Well, no more. I felt horrible at how much she suffered that neither her or Redford have gotten a table scrap in almost three weeks. Redford adjusted very quickly but Trixie still hangs out by the table, forever hopeful. Along with Trixie's anti-nausea medication, antibiotics and probiotics, I also began adding some Castor & Pollux PRISTINE Grain-Free Grass-Fed Beef Bone Broth Seasoned With Turmeric to both of their kibble that I got from Chewy.com.

Why this Bone broth? Because this bone broth is made with Beef Broth (with beef that has been grass fed and exposed to fresh air and sunlight), Beef Fat, Salt, Natural Flavor and organic tumeric. Castor & Pollux's grain free bone broths don't contain any wheat, corn, soy or gluten which is good for Trixie's food allergies. They also are free from artificial preservatives, flavors and colors. Bone broth is known to have some nutritious benefits such as helping with gastrointestinal health, skin,  joints, removing toxins, and curbing cravings. These are important health benefits for my dogs as they age.

The case of bone broth comes with 24 8.4 oz cartons, which should last them a few months since one carton lasts about 2.5 days. The screw top lid opens easily and is designed to open the plastic seal inside which help to keep the broth airtight and fresh. The broth smells good and obviously taste good since either dog will even think about coming to their food bowls until I add some of the bone broth to their kibble.

Besides this beef bone broth with turmeric there is also grass-fed beef, free range chicken, and free range turkey meal toppers. For now I will continue to keep Trixie on this bone broth with tumeric until she is feeling a lot better then I will try some of the other broths. I will make sure to keep a few containers of this one on hand just in case she ever has another gastrointestinal flare-up. Trixie seems to be thriving and both dogs seem to love eating their dry food soaked in the broth.
