The Ozeri Green Earth Wok is made with Ecozeri: an ultra-safe 100% PTFE and PFOA free ceramic non-stick coating derived from nature. Ecozeri’s multilayered coating has a powerful non-stick ceramic layer, premium top ceramic layer, aluminum, pro base ceramic coating layer, and lastly the pro ceramic coating bond layer. With no harmful heavy metals or chemicals this pan is eco-friendly and ultra-safe. The ceramic coating is scratch-resistant and durable. This coating makes it possible to not have to use as much oil as I would normally have used and it is so easy to clean. I gave up using coated pans years ago when I found out the fumes could kill my bird. I thought, if it could kill a bird what is the fumes doing to me and my family? This pan’s ceramic coating emits no harmful fumes.

My husband has been picking lots of green beans from the garden, cooking them up as stir fry and taking them to work for lunch. One night he made rice in it using foil as a lid, the next morning he asked me to see about purchasing a lid. I told him that it is a wok, it doesn't have a lid to purchase for it. That is when he told me he loves to cook with it, as if I hadn't figured it out already since I was the one who washed it daily after he used it! Don’t get me wrong, I really like to use this 12 “pan also, I just don't get much of a chance to. The Wok is such a nice size for cooking for three or more people.  It has a magnetized induction stove safe base for rapid heat transfer. The handle is oven safe but I haven’t used it that way yet because I do not use my oven in the summertime here in Arizona.
