The Easter Story for Children Review and Giveaway - ends 3/27

The Easter Story for Children tells us about Jesus’ final days on earth come to life. This is a great example of God’s enormous love for his children and helps bring the Bible to life for readers of any age. "The Easter Story for Children" is based on "The Story for Children" written by Max Lucado with Randy Frazee and Karen Hill. The great illustrations  are by artist Fausto Bianchi. This is a 11.5 × 8.5 × 0 in. softcover with 32 Pages.

Mary Magdalene looked again and saw an angel.
The book begins with Jesus and his disciples gathering to share the Passover meal. The children read about Jesus praying at the Mount of Olives, Judas' betrayal, Peters denials, his being hung on the cross and his resurrection. It ends with Jesus staying with his disciples for a while and teaching them about how he came to tell everyone about forgiveness and eternal life for everyone who believes. He told them he was leaving but the Holy Spirit was coming. After Jesus went up to heaven, the Holy Spirit did come and filled the disciples with courage and they were able to perform miracles in God's name and tell the world  about the Messiah who had come.My eight year old really likes this book. The Easter Story for Children is sure to become a family reading tradition every Easter.
