My son was talking to me about these new bars he and his wife had been enjoying so much, that they signed up to receive them monthly through through home delivery. I decided to see what he was talking about. It turns out that KIND Healthy Snacks is a brand of all natural foods made from ingredients you can pronounce and ingredients you can see. Kind Snack Bars come in four different varieties: Nuts & Spices, Fruit & Nut, Healthy Grains and plus. They have many flavors to choose from and you can sign up to get Kind Snack bars sent to your home every 1,2 or 3 months for 30% less than you would pay for them retail.

I was able to try three of the  KIND Nuts & Spices line – each bar has only 5g of sugar or less with nothing artificial and is a great source of all-natural protein, fiber and heart healthy fats. They are non GMO, gluten free, low glycemic, low sodium, no sugar alcohols, and no trans fats making them great for people on special diets.

Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan
  • Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan: contains 5g sugar, 7g fiber and 5g of protein. With my favorite type of chocolate, favorite nut and my favorite spice I was expecting this bar to be very good. I was ecstatic to find it was not just very good, it is delicious!
  • Dark Chocolate Nut & Sea Salt: contains 5g sugar, 7g fiber and 6g of protein. Nutty with a nice sea salt flavor.
  • Cashew & Ginger Spice: contains 4 g sugar, 5g fiber and 6g of protein. This bar is dairy free and has a great cashew and ginger flavor.
They also have a Madagascar Vanilla Almond flavor in the Nuts & Spices line that I didn't get to try but I plan on trying it along with all the other varieties and flavors.

These bars are a nice change from just eating a protein bar or a handful of nuts. I agree with my son about really enjoying these as a healthier alternative to my usual snacks.

Visit Kind to see all the varieties and connect with them on Facebook and Twitter to hear about specials and promotions. The Today Show gave Kind a blue ribbon for best snack bar and other magazines have recommended Kind bars for being a great snack for weight management, being tasty and nutritious.
