K'NEX carries a wide variety of construction sets that inspires creativity and builds self-confidence. I have four boys and every single one of them likes to build things. I think I was more excited than my eight year old was when the K’NEX Building Sets: Robo-Creatures Assortment came, because school was already out and I knew he was going to need some new toys to entertain him while I worked in my home office. I do not want him on the video games for over an hour a day. Ever since these three sets arrived; Robo-Sting, Robo-Smash, or Robo-Strike he has been busy building and playing! Each set boasts over 150 made in the USA K’NEX bricks, rods & connectors and each robot features a motor that provides unique and animating mechanical movement! The coolest thing is that you can combine all three sets to create the ultimate robotic creature.

My son received the K'NEX Robo Creatures Building sets:

  • Robo-Strike: This Robo-Creatures resembles a scorpion and iis motor makes it walk and sting just like a scorpion. It takes 2 AA batteries, not included. Recommended for ages 7+.
Includes 163 K'NEX parts, primarily rods & connectors.

  • Robo-Smash: This set looks like a primate and walks like one with the motor. It takes 2 AA batteries, not included. Recommended for ages 7+.

Includes 156 K'NEX parts, primarily rods & connectors.

  • Robo-Sting: K’NEX Robo-Sting building set has a motor that makes the wings like a hornet and makes it walk. It takes 2 AA batteries, not included. Recommended for ages 7+.

Includes 157 K'NEX parts, primarily rods & connectors.

*Robo-Combo: combine all three sets in the Robo-Creatures series to create the ultimate creature!

You connect Robo-Sting, Bobo-Smash and Robo-Strike pieces to build Robo-Combo.

Robo-Combo

On the move

As you can see son number four loved building and playing with all these great Robo Creatures. He was real proud of himself when he built Robo-Combo out of the sets and now he is using his imagination to create other sorts of stuff with the pieces. I am very happy that he has played video games only once since he received these sets. If you want your child entertained for awhile, I recommend the K'NEX building sets.

You can purchase all these great toys and more at  K'NEX, Walmart.com, Amazon and at toy retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $15.99, except for Robo-Combo.  Due to the small parts they are not recommended for children under the age of three. You can connect with K'Nex on FacebookTwitter, and Pinterest to hear about new products, specials and promotions.
