One of the first things we did when we had our home built was make sure we put in as many energy efficient products in that we could to cut down on energy costs. October is Energy Awareness Month
and it’s a great time to upgrade to a new energy-efficient appliance,
television or computer to save money on your home energy bills. Best Buy
has more than 2,300 unique ENERGY STAR® certified products available in Best Buy stores and online at Best Buy. Why make sure they are ENERGY STAR certified products?
Because they are certified to use less money allowing you to save money on
energy costs which means more money in your pocket where it belongs.
Beyond savings from simply having
energy efficient products, local utility companies provide additional rebates
that can save you up to $300. To find rebates available in your area,
check out the Best Buy online rebate finder here: ENERGY STAR Rebates. You will find rebates on all kinds of items such as light bulbs.
The average home’s annual energy bill is $2,200 and energy efficient products can save you money. Check out how much you can save with a new appliance by visiting Best Buy for Energy solutions. The Savings Calculator for ENERGY STAR Qualified Appliances lets you
estimate the energy consumption and operating costs of appliances and the savings with
ENERGY STAR. I used the home interactive tool that gives tips on how to save money. I already knew some of the tips given but I learned about a lot more ways to save money.
If you are wanting to save on energy costs in your home or office, I suggest shopping at Best Buy where you can
