About the Book: The Berenstain Bears Faithful Cubs is a collecton of three books of beloved Berenstain Bears Living Lights™ stories that can help teach readers about God’s love and work in our lives.
  • About Discover God’s Creation: Mama Bear tells the cubs there is more to life than their favorite television shows when she decides they are  spending too much time indoors in front of the TV. When Brother and Sister realize that God's world is beautiful they are more than happy to enjoy the trees, grass and buzzing bees. The lesson here is if we could be missing out on the wonderful world God created if we don't look around us.

  • About Do Their Best (2010): Papa helps the cubs build a homemade kite with sticks, strings, glue and a sheet for the kite-flying contest. The cubs are excited about the contest until they get to the competition and see elaborate kites.  Brother and Sister think the stylish kites are better than their homemade one and they feel discouraged. Papa reminds them that the best things are not always the fanciest. They learn that "substance over style" lesson.

  • About Learn to Share (2011): Sister Bear has so much fun climbing trees, skipping around and playing with her toys by herself until she realizes that she is being selfish by not sharing. She becomes aware that sharing with others is much more fun than doing doing everything alone. The lesson here is that God wants us all to share the good things he has provided, whether it be toys or good times with friends and family.

Grandpa reading to his Granddaughter

My Thoughts: My family loves to read The Berenstain Bears Living Lights™ books because they entertain and teach biblical values, morals, and life lessons that are priceless for children throughout every stage of their lives. All four of our boys have been reading The Berenstain Bears ever since they were able to read. We used to read the books to them before they could read and now we are reading them to our granddaughter. Hopefully she will want to continue the tradition when she learns to read.

About the Authors: Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962. Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents work together to write about and draw these lovable bears. Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too. Though Stan died in 2005, and Jan in 2012, Mike continues to create the delightful Bear adventures from their studio in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks much like the sunny dirt road deep in Bear Country.
