When I was offered the opportunity to review one of The Beatrix Girls Dolls I jumped at the chance since my granddaughter's birthday was coming up and she loves dolls and music. The Beatrix Girls are a pop-star group of 12" dolls who write, sing and write thier own real original music that young girls can collect and enjoy. The group consists of four girls: Brayden who is the "lead singer" of the band, Ainsley the drummer, Lark the bass-player, and Chantal the keyboardist. The Beatrix Girls reside in Los Angeles and practice wherever they can because they want to make it big and they want to make this world a better place. They love relaxing, hanging out, and enjoying each other's company.

I decided to go with Chantal: She is a native from Montreal, Canada and has a thick Canadian/French accent. She plays the keyboard and sings vocals with The Beatrix Girls. Chantal has soft, wavy brown hair, often worn in a loose up-do. Her make-up is very precise and discreet in comparison to the other girls. She has a no-nonsense look about her, preferring to wear sensible shoes and sticking with a classic 50’s style such as soft, subtle silk blouses and dark, tight, Capri type pants or mini skirts with fishnet stockings. While she is normally gentle, logical and level headed, she will occasionally throw a French fit. My favorite phrase is "J'en peux plus! which means "I can't take it anymore!" her favorite things are Marzipan, French Onion Soup, Scented candles and Snails.

A  CD Sampler was also included with 3 catchy songs: Just Bein' Beatrix, Bend the Rules, and Go Extreme. The Beatrix Girls Music is available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon.

A very happy little girl!
My little princess loved the doll and the fact that you can take the bracelet and shoes off, and brush her long hair. Now my granddaughter can be a Trixie as she plays with her Chantal Beatrix Girl Doll, collect their music, join their fan club, and pretend that she is living the life of a pop star.

The Beatrix Girls are available at TOYS R US stores nationwide and online at Toysrus, select Justice stores, Walmart.com and AmazonMSRP: $24.99 (Each Doll) -- $99.96 (The Collection).
