About Keep The Faith:

When Brother and Sister Bear’s friend Ferdy Factual tells them he doesn’t believe God created the world, the Bear cubs don’t know what to think. What does it mean to have faith? Can Preacher Brown help? A trip to see Preacher Brown helps them understand the meaning of faith. Using the example of Daniel in the Lions’ Den, Preacher Brown helps the cubs understand that faith in God is trusting in his love.

My thoughts:

My nine year old recently told me that he didn't understand what faith was. Even though he attends a Christian school and we attend church regularly he still needed to have faith explained to him. I imagine lots of children don't understand about faith
book will let readers identify with the same questions about faith and God's love that brother and sister bear had.
You will find Activities and Questions on the back page that you can do with your child.
The Berenstain Bear books are great faith based books for you to read to your children if they are unable to read themselves.

About Stan and Jan Berenstain:
They introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962. Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents write about and draw these lovable bears. Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too. Since the late 80s, he has been very much involved as a writer and illustrator with his family’s creation, the Berenstain Bears. He continued to work with his mother, Jan, creating new books, up until her death in 2012. The antics and activities of Mike’s three children have provided inspiration for many Berenstain Bears books over the years. Though Stan and Jan passed away in 2005 and 2012, respectively, Mike continues to create the delightful Bear adventures from a studio in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks much like the sunny dirt road deep in Bear Country. www.berenstainbears.com
