About When Calls The Heart: A Telling Silence:
This movie is the third DVD release of a feature length film made from episodes of the When Calls the Heart television drama series inspired by Janette Oke's book When Calls the Heart from her Canadian West Series, about Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), a young teacher accustomed to her high society life, who receives her first classroom assignment in Coal Valley, a small coal mining town where life is simple, but often fraught with challenges. Lori Loughlin plays Abigail Stanton, a wife and mother whose husband, the foreman of the mine, along with a dozen other miners, have been killed in an explosion. In A Telling Silence teacher Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), feels sorry for 8-year-old mute Rosaleen Sullivan and reaches out to the little girl as they share lunch. But when Elizabeth is called away and then returns, Rosaleen is missing! Meanwhile, constable Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) discovers evidence that Cat Montgomery may have been involved in a suspicious church fire. Could the two cases be related?
My Thoughts:
I have always been a Janette Oke fan but I don't receive the Hallmark Channel at home so I am super happy to be able to view this compelling series on DVD. The clothing and scenery are beautiful and the movie allows me to see and feel how challenging life could be in the 19th century. I can't wait for the next DVD in the series to come out.

Watch the television series of When Call The Heart on the Hallmark Channel. Visit When Call The Heart Movie at their website to learn more about the series. You can purchase a copy at Amazon.
