I have enjoyed eating shredded wheat ever since I can remember, now my kids enjoy shredded wheat. Post has come out with a NEW Shredded Wheat Crunch. They are bite sized shredded whole grain wheat squares with crunchy granola clusters. Every 1 cup serving of this great tasting cereal has 12g of sugar, 5g of protein, 43g whole grain, 4 essential vitamins & minerals, and 5g of fiber. The 0g trans fat, 0g saturated fat, and 0mg cholesterol per serving is important to us as who try to watch our weight and cholesterol levels. Did you know that diets that are rich in whole grain foods and other plant foods, plus are low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may help reduce the risk of heart disease.

The cereal does have a sweet taste but not as sweet as a lot of other sugary cereals we have eaten. The cereal stays crunchy for a long time, which is good for those of us who don't enjoy soggy cereal.

My 10 year old who is a big shredded wheat lover actually enjoys the new clusters. Normally he likes to stick the old standby and it is difficult to get him to try something new. This cereal is a great tasting addition to our breakfast items.
