Trixie enjoys soft canned food but I like to give her dry dog food also. If I mix some good soft food with her hard nuggets she will scarf it down and not let her dry food sit all day long until she realizes she isn't getting anything else. I don't give her soft food normally by itself unless I want to con her into taking vitamins she normally won't take on its own. If she eat nothing but soft food then she tends to have soft stools that stick to her Yorkshire Terrier hair, that means more baths, more baths means more dry skin and more dry skin means more scratching!
