I look forward to the evenings when I sit on the porch and can watch the birds eat their seeds and the hummingbirds bicker with each other over the control of the feeders. I normally mix up sugar and water for my hummingbird feeders but on busy weeks keeping the feeders full can be quite a chore so it is nice to have ready made nectar handy. Sweet Seeds provides a dye free nectar for hummingbirds that is made with all natural wild flower extracts. It's flowery juices contains electrolytes to keep hummingbirds from dehydration and calcium to help with egg growth.

The Ready-To-Use Hummingbird Nectar is infused with the the juices of the flowers that hummingbirds love most. This one is easy to use since you just fill up the feeder directly from the bottle, no stirring or mess!

The Nectar Concentrate makes three times the amount of liquid in the bottle. This way is a less expensive alternative to the ready to use bottle. I like the idea of having a bottle of each available; the concentrated form to save money but also for the hummingbirds that stay throughout the winter. For those little flying beauties I have to check each feeder early in the morning to make sure the feeders didn't freeze overnight. If they do then I need to thaw them out and get fresh liquid out to them soon, that is done much faster with the convenient ready-to-use bottle.

This little guy is coming in for one of his last drinks
before he retires for the night.

Besides hummingbird nector, you can find Oriole and Butterfly Nectar Concentrate as well. The nectars come in 750ml bottles. Visit Sweet-Seed to learn more, connect on Facebook and Twitter to learn about specials and promotions.
