About the When Calls the Heart Series:

From celebrated author Janette Oke (The Love Comes Softly series) comes a rigorous and romantic adventure as epic as the wide frontier. Erin Krakow (Army Wives), Daniel Lissing (Eye Candy), Jack Wagner (Melrose Place) and Lori Loughlin (Full House, 90210) star in When Calls The Heart, “a beautiful story with roots in relationships, self-empowerment, and the enduring power of love” (Common Sense Media).

About When Calls the Heart- “Heart and Home”:

Jack and Elizabeth leave Hope Valley and rush back to the city of Hamilton when they learn that Jack’s brother, Tom, was involved in an automobile accident… with Elizabeth’s sister, Julie! But Tom and Julie are hiding something about the incident, a deceit that puts Jack and Elizabeth at odds with their families… and with each other. Their trip is further complicated when Tom and Julie endeavour to run off together – via train this time – and Elizabeth’s father offers Jack a job – an offer that puts Jack and Elizabeth’s fledgling romance in peril yet again.

My thoughts:

It was very amusing when the children starts asking about which man Elizabeth was going to marry which Jack happens to overhear as he is in the schoolroom working on the stove. They end up having to go back to Hamilton to deal with their siblings. Do Julie and Tom really plan on staying away from each other or are they pulling another stunt? Elizabeth's father and Charles both continue to try  dissuading Jack from a relationship with her.

Bill finally gets to tell Abigail the truth about his wife and son. Abigail puts a nosy neighbor in her place, she then talks to Hogan who convinces her that she must forgive Bill. Hogan also asks her to dinner. Are Abigail and Hogan going to end up together? Is Bill going to end up back with his wife?

Rosemary and Lee find out that Gowan is cheating at poker, they decide to reverse the tables on him causing him to lose a lot of money. He is not a happy camper so we just know he is planning something deceptive. On a sad note, Rosemary tells Lee she isn't ready for a relationship.
