The Finding Noah Documentary is going to be released on Thursday, October 8 for a one day showing.

About Finding Noah:

For over 2,000 years, man has been searching for the final resting place of Noah's Ark. Though there have been many attempts, few have been able to fully explore the one place specifically noted in the Bible: Mount Ararat. Located in Eastern Turkey, Agri Dagh or "The Painful Mountain" is the tallest mountain in the region and lies in the very center of a centuries old, geo-politically unstable hot spot. With constant threats of deadly rock slides, hidden crevasses, and glacial ice falls, the Kurdish Rebel held mountain poses great risk to any explorer, let alone those performing a thorough scientific investigation.

Join director/producer Brent Baum and the FINDING NOAH film crew as they follow an expedition of intrepid explorers on a perilous trek up to Mt. Ararat's desolate summit. There, using state of the art technology and real-time satellite imagery, this team of archeologists, scientists and professional mountaineers will begin a grid work of exploration unlike any before, hoping to finally resolve the age-old question: did Noah and his Ark actually exist?

Shot in never-before filmed locations in the harshest of conditions, this unprecedented feature-length documentary shows just how far men are willing to go to discover the truth. Narrated by Academy Award nominee Gary Sinise, FINDING NOAH is more than a quest for answers, it is a testament of the human spirit, where belief and the need for exploration transcend risk and limitation.

My thoughts:

I have watched a few documentaries throughout my lifetime about Noah's Ark which consequently means whenever an opportunity presents itself to be able to view a more recent documentary about it I am unequivocally going to jump at the chance to view it.  Ever since my three older children were young
I would read about Noah's Ark to them from the bible and other childrens books, plus they would also watch children movies about it. As they grew older they would watch different investigative reports about the search with me.  I now have an 11 year old who is showing the same curiousity about the ark as his older brothers and I.  We found Finding Noah to be a very interesting and informative documentary. My son has decided to do a presentation about the flood for school after viewing the film. I asked my son at the beginning of the movie if he thought he could climb Mount Ararat and he slowly shook his head, by the end I hear him tell his father how it would be cool to be able to find the ark when he is older. All I know is that it takes a very determined person to be able to undertake that kind of strenous ordeal. If you are as captivated by the search for Noah's Ark as I am, then you should enjoy this great documentary.

The movie has a runtime of 116 minutes and  is rated NR. You can purchase your Finding Noah tickets here. Visit the website, to learn more plus connect on Facebook, Twitter, and the Youtube.
