Santa Cruz Organic® has been pioneers of the organic movement since the 1970's. They were the first to have a wide range of organic, 100 percent juices and blends. They were also the first juice processor to use all organic fruit sourced from growers certified by an independent, third-party certification organization. Moms Meet sent my family a box of apple sauce and two different flavored bottles of Agua Fresca to try.

Aqua Frescas are refreshing beverages that have long been famous in the Caribbean and Central America. Santa Cruz's version is made with filtered water, organic fruit juice & fruit juice concentrate, a splash of organic lemon juice, organic sugar, and the other organic natural flavors.

We all love mango and passion fruit in our house so the first Agua Fresca we had to try was the Mango Passionfruit. I drank about 1/4 of what I had poured in my glass, It is slightly sweet, with a very good-tasting mix of mango and passionfruit. I then offered some to my son, which turned out to be a big mistake, seeing that he proceeded to drink the rest of what I had in my cup. Being a typical 11 year old who loves sweet beverages, I was actually surprised that he enjoyed it so much. He admitted that it wasn't as sweet as regular juices but thought that it tastes good. So good in fact, that he ended up drinking the rest of what was in the bottle.

I ended up hiding the Pomegranate flavored one so I would be able to enjoy some of it when he wasn't around. Not wanting to be totally stingy, I did save some for my husband so he could try it. He rarely drinks juice due to the high sweetness factor, he liked that it was only mildly sweet with a lot of pomegranate flavor. I found it every bit as fresh and flavorsome as the Mango Passionfruit. He and I really enjoy the Aqua Frescas so much better than flavored water and juice.

My son has been asking me to go to the supermarket to buy more. There is a Grapefruit flavor available that I want to get for my husband since he is fond of grapefruit juice but he finds it too acidic to drink regularly. With Agua Frescas only having 14% juice it shouldn't bother him as much as straight up grapefruit juice.

The Certified USDA Organic Apple Sauce contains organic apples, water, and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Each packet provides 100% of daily value vitamin C, is gluten free, and has no added colors or high fructose corn syrup.

The applesauce tastes like very much like the homemade kind I used to make, back when I had time to make everything from scratch. The applesauce has a very smooth texture making it easy for little ones to be able to swallow.

I can't hardly get him (my son above) to eat fresh apples but he would have finished all four pouches in one day if I would have let him. He was not happy when I told him I took a pouch to taste it for myself! My son wishes there was more than four squeezable pouches in the box.
