This past summer we spent a week in California, on the days we spent the day at the beach I had to deal with a lot of sand on the towels and blankets we used as we relaxed on the sand. Now, I love the beach and I love sticking my feet in the sand but I don't love the sand that I have to deal with on my towels and blankets. With my new Monkey Mat I am adequately prepared for the sand the next time I visit the beach. This amazing mat is going to be the perfect item for laying out while listening to the ocean waves. Why? 

Because the mat comes in a zippered bag with a handle to keep it packed away safely and to be able to carry it wherever you need it. The bag is attached to the mat so you don't lose it, if you lose one then you lose the other. 

The quilted mat measures 10x10x2, it is a thick, portable mat that we can use inside or outside. It has a handle so it can be carried wherever I go. It has a waterproof base, central loops for attaching items, spill resistant top, weighted corners, loops for stakes, and the attached ultra-compact pouch that allows me to be able to take it everywhere! The thick mat is great for using at a park, the beach, outdoor concerts, indoor or outdoor picnics, sporting events, camping, and more.

The Monky Mat arrived just before it was my turn to decide what we were going to do on date night. Since our bedroom is big enough for our bedroom furniture and still has a bit of walking area, I opted for an indoor picnic. I had my husband bring home Kentucky Fried Chicken while I set up our an area in our bedroom for our picnic.  

I had a set of conversation cards ready that gave us topics of conversation to use as we ate our chicken dinner. I didn't have to worry about any spills on our carpet because the mat is thick enough to absorb spills and I only had to shake it outside to get rid of any crumbs. This mat is going to save me a lot of towel washing and less vacuuming of sand in my vehicle during our summer vacations and we will be a bit more comfortable when we lay back during outdoor concerts.
