Our Balsam wreath arrived a few days ago from Hilltop Christmas Tree Farms. I was so excited when UPS dropped off the box because I have been waiting for my house to smell like Christmas. We used to go cut our own tree as a family when our boys were younger and it sure made the house smell like pine. We started using an artificial tree for the past few years and it just doesn't put out any kind of Christmas scent.

The wreath is made out of Balsam Fir in a rich dark-green color with branches that are dense, rugged and turned upward. The needles are short, smooth and scented with a fabulously fresh fragrance. Balsam Fir is known for having the ability to hold on to its needles, which I believe seeing as I haven't had to sweep up any needles yet.
It looks great hanging off my front door but then I can't smell the wonderful Balsam aroma so I decided to hang it off my bedroom door. If I leave the door closed we can enjoy the scent in the dining room, kitchen, and the front room. I love how beautiful the wreaths looks and how wonderful it smells. I am very happy with my Hilltop Wreath.
