I was quite impressed with how easily the egg came out of the pan. The smear is where I accidentally popped the egg yolk when I lifted one of the eggs out of the pan so I could take a picture of only one egg sliding out of the pan.  I really do like the pan, it cooks the food evenly, it is easy to clean, very sturdy and the non-stick coating works great. This stainless steel non-stick pan is a perfect addition to my stainless steel cookware set that I already have.
