Cool Gear E-Z Freeze Deluxe Salad Kit Review

This Cool Gear E-Z Freeze Deluxe Salad has a BPA Free salad bowl to put your greens, a dressing container with lid that snaps into the tray, a freezer tray with non-toxic freezer gel inside to keep the salad and dressing cool, and a snap tight lid that fits over the top of the salad bowl. This easy concept of freeze, fill, and go container is great for  people on the go. I thought of my daughter in law, Portia, who takes a lunch to work everyday.

This picture shows how Portia filled it and these are her thoughts on the salad kit:

Pros - 

• Compact design
• Fits easily in my refrigerator
• Vegetables stay crisp and lettuce doesn't get wilty with the freezer gel design
• Is multi purposeful - I am going to try using it for yogurt and granola toppings
• Everything stays in place, my toppings don't get mixed together if bowl is dropped

Cons -

• The sections that hold the salad toppings could be a little deeper - I like a lot of toppings on my salad
• A place on the bottom that a fork could snap into the bowl would have been extra great for the design so that it is an all in one.

Portia loves the salad kit and says it is the perfect size for the compact refrigerator they have at her work.
