Janet's Planet: Exploring MicroGravity 4/15

My son loves to learn about all kinds of stuff and Janet's Planet featuring Janet Ivey, gives all kinds of information about health, science and history on this planet and much more. You can watch Janet's Planet on Public television and you'll feel good knowing that it's safe, educational content!

My son watched the Exploring MicroGravity DVD that was filmed at the Kennedy Space Center to allow the viewer to experience microgravity the way astronauts in space do.
Some things my son learned about:
  • The difference between Gravity and MicroGravity.
  • That a combination of three scientists discovered gravity.
  • That a person can float on earth the same way you can on the moon.
  • Space Florida’s Goal is to encourage science exploration.

My son really enjoyed this DVD and is looking forward to watching more Janet's Planet episodes and going online to play games.

Visit Janet's Planet to play the Speed of Thought Game, view pics, create your own planet and more. You can connect with her on Facebook, and Twitter to hear about specials and promotions.

From Janet Ivey
“For the past decade, science education has been my passion and America’s children have been my inspiration.  It is incredible to see how excited children can become about the world around them when the information is presented in an accessible and fun way.  That is the mission of Janet’s Planet, and I look forward to continuing to support better science education in the years to come.”
