In 2014, Phil Wickham had vocal cord surgery to remove a polyp. During his recovery he wondered if he would ever be able to sing professionally again. Fortunately, Phil heard the Lord tell him that he is loved, we are all loved, and that we are all God's children. Phil took that truth to heart and penned the song "Children of God" to let others be aware that no matter what we do or what happens we are CHILDREN OF GOD!

Phil is back and sounds better than ever. Each song is spirit lifting and makes me want to sing along with hands raised, praising the Lord. This is undeniably the kind of uplifting music that I want to hear my soon to be 12 year old son singing along to. He told me that it puts him in a good mood. That is a great compliment in my opinion. Phil's songs gently remind me that Jesus paid the price for my sin and all I have to do is accept his infinite love.
