Himalaya Botanique Toothpaste #momsmeet #himalayausa

Disclosure: I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.

I have made a few of my own health & beauty aid products that are free from unwanted chemicals. I even made my own toothpaste a couple of times but the idea of re-dipping my toothbrush into the paste kind of makes me nauseous. I know, I know, I am a little on the weird side. I was thrilled when I was given the chance to review the Himalaya Botanique Toothpastes. Why? Because they are free from flouride, sodium laurel sulfate, carrageenan, and gluten. What they do have is Neem to clean, Pomegranate to toughen gums, Triphala to clean the mouth area and Xylitol as a sweetener. All ingredients combined support good oral hygiene.

I was sent four products in the complete care line; Simply Mint, Simply Spearmint, Simply Peppermint, and Simply Cinnamon. Plus 2 in the Whitening Complete Care line consists of Simply Mint and Simply Peppermint. There is an Original Neem and Pomegranite toothpaste available.

As a coffee drinker my teeth can stand a bit of whitening so started with the Whitening Simply Mint flavored toothpaste. It comes out of the tube and has the same texture just the same as ordinary toothpaste. The whitening formulas contains pineapple and papaya enzymes (papain & Bromelain ) to help whiten. I have used the toothpaste for a few weeks now and I can't say that my teeth are glowing white yet but they do feel very clean  for most of the day. My mouth feels so fresh and minty after I am done. My son has claimed the cinnamon flavored one and my husband the spearmint, both of them are happy with their choices and are also pleased with how clean their teeth and mouth feel after brushing. I am glad that our whole family will continue using this brand of toothpaste because my husband and son are normally very particular about the brand they like to use.

I have to say that I had never tried a bamboo toothbrush before using this 100% biodegradable one that was sent along with the toothpastes. The bristles are very soft, which my dentist is going to like, she is always telling me to stop brushing so hard. Yes, another one of my many quirks. The handle is smooth and comfortable to hold.
