San-J Organic Tamari Sauces #Review #momsmeet

Disclosure: I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.

After not having a home cooked meal for weeks, I  told myself I was just going to stop and take the time to make a decent dinner. I had received these San-J sauces to try a few weeks ago and realized that I had to use them pronto. I wanted to try these tamari sauces because they are gluten free. It can be really difficult to eat some products with gluten being in a lot of products.  As I read each bottle, I was a bit shocked to see that all three bottles had a super easy recipe on it. Inspired, I took three large chicken breasts and a pound of deer loin steak out of the freezer that night to defrost. The next day I proceeded to make the recipe from all three sauces.

Marinating the chicken strips in the Thai Peanut Sauce
The first thing I did was put the rice cooker to work.  For the Satay chicken, I cut one and a half of the chicken breasts, then let them marinade for about 30 minutes in the Peanut Sauce before grilling them on the grill. They are served with a bowl of the Peanut Sauce for dipping.

I stir fried the rest of the three chopped chicken breasts in a little peanut oil, after they were thoroughly cooked, I added the Orange Sauce to the wok. The recipe calls for the chicken to be cooked with vegetables but I didn't use any.

As the chicken marinated I sliced a pound of loin steak into strips, then coated them with corn starch before stir frying them in a wok with a little peanut oil, Once they were done I put them in the Mongolian Sauce to marinade for few minutes. I served them on top of the cooked rice, garnishing them with chopped green onions.

The end result.

Yes, I realize I didn't have any veggies besides the green onions but I hadn't shopped in a couple of weeks so if there were any vegetables in the fridge they wouldn't have been very appealing. My two hungry meat eaters sure didn't seem to mind it.

This guy found out that Mongolian Sauce is very tasty!

He doesn't look that thrilled here but in a minute that all changed!

Dinner was delicious! My husband stopped eating long enough to ask me if the meal was hard to prepare. He proceeded to smile lovingly at me, then asked if we could have it at least once a week. I hesitated before I answered him because at that moment I realized what he was thinking (If I can convince her to cook these yummy Thai dishes at least once a week I won't have to take her to the Thai restaurant anymore).  A little bit sad, I had to reply that "no, it wasn't that hard" since he knew already knew I had prepared the whole meal in less than an hour. Then the lightbulb clicked, "Yes, as long as we keep buying these sauces!" I replied. San-J sauces has made it so easy that I am actually inspired to cook more Thai dishes on a regular basis, albeit with some fresh veggies also.
