One of the drawbacks of having so many live plants is finding someone to come over and water them whenever I have to go out of town. My husband is not always thrilled with the amount of our water bill during the hot Arizona summer months. He has mentioned getting some fake plants a few times, to my chagrin. Every time I think of fake plants I remember the plastic flowers my ex-mother in law used to bring over to decorate my house with. She loved them, I did not but I knew she meant well so I kept them until her son and I divorced. Recently my husband and I have been talking about purchasing a motor home and doing some traveling. I am not going to want to keep asking our son's to come and take care of my indoor plants (the outdoor ones are on a watering system) so I decided I needed to start decorating with plants that won't require any maintenance. To begin the transition I chose the Peony, Hydrangea Candle Holder centerpiece for the dining room table.
